The Sewer Lines We Jet Clean
The jet reaches the whole of your sewer line, from the house to the point where it joins the main.

Blocked Sewer Lines
Wipes, sanitary items, fat and silt packed into the line between the house and the street. The jet cuts through and flushes it all down to the main. It is the same jet blasting we use on blocked house drains.

Tree Roots In The Sewer
Roots that have grown in through old joints. The jet's cutting head clears them from the pipe; repairing those joints, or tree root removal, is what keeps them out.

Boundary Traps And Openings
We jet from the inspection opening or the boundary trap. When a line has no opening where it needs one, we show you where one should go.

Jetting Before It Blocks
For a sewer that blocks every few months, a jet clean before the next blockage is easier to live with than another overflow in the yard.
Which Jetting Job Do You Need?
The jet is the same. How soon you need it is not.

Sewage Overflowing
Sewage coming up in the yard, the gully or inside. Stop using water in the house and call; a blocked sewer is cleared with the jet, then checked on camera.

Everything Slow And Gurgling
Toilet, shower and sinks all slow, or gurgling when another drain runs. The sewer is partly blocked, and jetting it now stops the overflow that usually follows.

Blocks Every Few Months
The same sewer keeps blocking. We jet it clean and put the camera through to show you why, so you can decide between a repair and jetting it on a schedule.
How We Jet A Sewer Line
Three steps, and you see the result on camera.
Price agreed firstFind The Access Point
We find the inspection opening or boundary trap, work out where the blockage is and give you one fixed price before we start.
High pressureJet The Line Clear
The jetter feeds a hose up the line with a cutting head that sprays water at high pressure, breaking up roots, fat and wipes and flushing them down to the main.
Camera checkCheck It On Camera
Once it runs clear, the camera goes through the line so you can see it is open, and whether anything needs repair.

Sewer Jetting FAQs
Answer:
It depends on how long the line is, where the blockage is, how easy the access point is to reach, and what is in the pipe: roots take longer than wipes. We look first and give you one fixed price before the jetter goes in.
Answer:
Hire jetters and pressure washer attachments exist, but they are far less powerful than a plumber's jetter, they are easy to push into a broken pipe or get stuck, and sewage coming back up the line is a real risk. For a blocked sewer it is safer, and usually quicker, to have it jetted and checked.
Answer:
Liquid and granular cleaners can help a little with fat in a kitchen line, but they do not shift roots, wipes or silt in a sewer, and caustic product sitting in a blocked pipe makes it dangerous to open. A jet physically clears the pipe.
Answer:
Yes. Sewer jetting, hydro jetting and jet blasting all mean clearing a pipe with high pressure water through a hose and nozzle. Sewer jetting is that done on the sewer line, from the house to the main.
Answer:
Yes, a root cutting nozzle clears roots from the pipe. They grow back through the same cracked or open joints, though, so if the camera shows them getting in, repairing those joints is what stops them returning.
Answer:
We jet from the nearest opening we can use, such as the boundary trap or a gully. If there is none where the line needs one, we show you where one should go so the next clear is quicker.
Answer:
We jet your property's sewer line up to where it joins the main. The main itself belongs to Sydney Water, and if the blockage is in their main, they clear it. The camera tells us which side it is on.
