You get one fixed price before any work starts, and there is nothing to pay just for us to come and look during business hours.

Some kits are sold for home installation, and changing a cartridge is usually simple if you follow the maker's instructions. Cutting into the cold water line and fitting a new tap is work for a licensed plumber, and a slow leak in a closed cupboard can go unnoticed until the cabinet is damaged.
