These terms apply when you request a quote, book work, or use this website or our chatbot. "We", "us" and "our" mean Mr Splash Plumbing, ABN 56 603 812 460, NSW Licence #306457C.

Quotes and pricing

  • Quotes are free and carry no obligation.
  • We work on upfront, fixed pricing. You approve the price before any work starts.
  • A firm price can only be given once a plumber has seen the job. Any figure given beforehand, including anything our chatbot tells you, is general information and not a quote.
  • If we find something that changes the scope once work is underway, we stop and get your approval before continuing.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

Call-out fees

No call-out fee during business hours, Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm. Mr Splash VIP lifetime members pay no call-out fee at any time. After-hours and weekend call-outs may attract a fee at our discretion, and we will always confirm it with you before we attend.

Bookings, access and cancellations

  • Arrival windows are estimates. Emergencies and traffic can move them, and we will keep you informed.
  • You need to give us safe and clear access to the work area, and tell us about anything hazardous on site.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can.
  • If we attend at the agreed time and cannot get access, we may charge for the visit. We will tell you before we attend if that applies.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. For larger jobs, interest-free payment plans are available through Brighte, subject to their approval and their terms.

Our workmanship

We are fully licensed (NSW Licence #306457C) and insured, and we provide a lifetime guarantee on our workmanship. That guarantee covers our labour. It does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects in parts or appliances, which are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty.
  • Fair wear and tear, misuse, or work altered by someone else after we finish.
  • Pre-existing faults elsewhere in the property that we did not work on.

If something we installed or repaired is not right, contact us and we will come back and look at it.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

This website and our chatbot

  • Information on this site is general in nature and may change without notice.
  • Our chatbot gives general guidance only. It does not provide a firm price, and it is not a substitute for a licensed plumber inspecting the job.
  • Never attempt gas or plumbing repairs yourself based on anything you read here. If you smell gas, leave the area and call 000 or your gas supplier immediately.
  • We verify your mobile number by SMS before a plumber follows up. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
