In July 2026, our plumber attended a hot water leak in Tempe where a gas hot water system, eight years old, was leaking from the bottom. We carried out a pressure test on the house hot and cold lines, which showed no leaks. A pressure test on the breech at the laundry tub also showed no leaks. We then performed a dye test on the drainage at the laundry tub, which revealed no leaks. Finally, we filled the tank outside with a garden hose and left it to sit.

In May 2026, a Tempe customer reported issues with their gas supply, believing something had happened to the gas meter. Our plumber cut out the existing galvanised gas line, including the vertical riser. We then ran a new 20mm copper line from the meter to the rear of the house, teeing in a line for the cooktop and connecting to the existing 15mm copper line for the hot water system and internally for the cooktop. A 1/4 turn lever basin set was also installed in the bathroom.
