Recent Work Near Bonnet Bay
Real jobs from our own records, completed in the surrounding suburbs.
The 2021 Census counts 775 private dwellings in Bonnet Bay, 99% of them separate houses, so most of our work here is on a home's own sewer line, water service and hot water system rather than a shared block. Sydney Water looks after about 27,000 kilometres of wastewater pipes and clears up to 20,000 blockages a year, but the line from your house to the street connection is yours to maintain, and that is the stretch where tree roots, old clay joints and ground movement do their damage. If you would rather not find out the hard way, our VIP members get a free annual home inspection that checks the drains, taps and hot water before anything fails.
In March 2026, a customer in Jannali reported a washing machine hose had sprung a leak and they could not shut off the water. Our plumber isolated the water feed, then disconnected and removed the broken water feed hose. We supplied and installed a new water feed hose, reconnected the drainage hose, and turned on the water to test all works. We completed the work.
A customer in Illawong reported a blocked sewer in August 2026. Our plumber found the blockage at a main shaft, which was accessible via a private laneway. The customer approved a quote for excavation. We excavated the sewer service to 1.5m, removed defective PVC pipework, and installed new 100mm PVC pipework and fittings. We raised PVC inspection openings to ground level, concreted joins, backfilled the trench with blue metal and soil, and compacted the ground.

Our plumber attended an Illawong property in July 2026 where the Rheem electric hot water system had no hot water pressure. We found debris caught inside the temperature line. We completed the work.

Our plumber attended a Menai property in March 2026 for a pipe relining job. We gained access to the work area and set up specialist hoses and a mini reel. We carried out a high-powered jet blast of the drainage service to clear the blockage. We then set up a CCTV camera and performed a CCTV inspection of the drainage service. We provided our findings on completion.

Bonnet Bay Plumbing FAQ
Answer:
Same-day is often possible. We clear the blockage, and if it keeps coming back, a camera inspection, free with any booked drain service, shows whether the problem is further down the drain. The price is fixed before we start.
Answer:
Yes. We find hidden leaks under floors, in walls and in the yard. Sydney Water repairs a leak between its pipes and the meter, up to one metre inside the boundary, at no charge; anything after the meter is for the owner (Sydney Water). 99.3% of Bonnet Bay homes are separate houses (ABS 2021 Census).
