It depends on the appliance and what is already there: connecting a new oven or cooktop to a gas point that suits it is a smaller job than fitting a longer hose, moving the gas point or extending the line. We look first, then give you one fixed price to approve before any work starts. There is nothing to pay just for us to come and look during business hours. Yes. In NSW, connecting a gas oven, upright stove or cooktop is gas fitting work that has to be done by a licensed gas fitter. You can buy the appliance yourself and we will connect it.
Answer:
Yes. We disconnect the old appliance, connect the new one to the existing gas point and test it. If the new one sits in a different spot or needs a longer hose, we tell you before we quote.

Yes. A built-in gas wall oven is connected to a gas point inside or behind the cabinet, then leak tested and lit. It needs a cavity that suits it, so check the measurements before you buy.

Yes, as long as the appliance is set up for LPG. Natural gas and LPG appliances are set up differently, so check the gas type on the box before you buy and tell us when you book.

We disconnect the gas cooktop and cap the gas line safely so the induction cooktop can go in. The induction cooktop itself needs an electrician to connect it.
