Years before Mr Splash Plumbing existed, Jon worked as a plumber under his father's tutelage. The family banded together to face a competitive industry and came out the other side stronger. When Jon went on to start Mr Splash Plumbing with Tara, he took the lessons his father had engraved in his heart with him.
From his father, Jon learnt work ethic, integrity, and staying motivated. But the most important lesson was the magic of family. Jon found that a family-like bond between co-workers created something irreplaceable at the workplace. He and Tara became committed to upholding that with the Mr Splash crew. That same kinship extends to every customer — Jon puts it as a form of respect. He takes the wishes, urgency and home of his clients seriously, and instils the same in his team. Putting people before profits is Jon's philosophy; when you do right by customers, success follows on its own.
When he's not on the job, Jon loves spending time with his kids and getting involved in the local community. To wind down, he puts time into his other passion — cars. He likes to bring one from his collection down to the track from time to time. Jon's life work is to pass down the same ideals he received from his father. Even if his kids don't become plumbers, he hopes the core values of family carry on from one generation to the next.
Believe it or not, work is Tara's second favourite thing in the world. When she's not spending time with her husband and kids, she's dedicating blood, sweat and tears to Mr Splash Plumbing.
