Apricus Solar Hot Water Systems
The future is in solar power and energy. Every day, researchers discover new things and create new technology in this field. Solar water heaters are becoming increasingly efficient and popular. At Mr. Splash Plumbing, we have installed several of them over the recent years.
We find that the Apricus solar hot water systems are a great addition to any home.
Compared to all the players in the market, Apricus is a relatively new company. It was founded in 2003 and launched in 2005. In just ten years, it has established itself in 30 countries and is thriving in the solar industry.
Don’t let the young age of Apricus fool you.
The company has won several awards for its innovative design and products. It also has a solid customer service team that is always reachable and helpful. We have installed several Apricus solar hot water systems and know just how efficient they are.
How Does it Work?
Apricus solar hot water systems use excavated tubes rather than a flat panel to absorb and direct heat energy. This makes the system highly efficient as it can be used in varying degrees of sunlight. You’ll get higher levels of heat even in cooler temperatures and weaker sunlight.
The round tubes will absorb the sun’s heat and light from all directions. These tubes also have a vacuum space inside that doesn’t allow the absorbed heat to escape, which leads to better heating.
The tubes contain a thin heating pipe, which contains a small amount of purified water. That water is heated enough to turn into steam and travel up the pipe into a manifold. That steam will travel through the manifold while a pump circulates cold water into it. This process will heat the water.
About Apricus Solar Hot Water Systems
Apricus solar hot water systems can save up to 80% on your water heating bills and are very efficient. Because they work in cooler weather conditions and weaker sunlight, they’re the preferred solar water heaters available in the market today. We always recommend that you should choose a system that fulfills your specific needs.
You need an expert to evaluate your home and needs and give you the right suggestions on the type of heating you might need.
